SIM Only Deals Compare is run by Ellul Malta Ltd, a small independent publisher. Nobody here sells airtime, switches anybody or takes a share of what you spend.
Why this site exists
Anybody choosing a SIM in the UK is not short of comparison sites. What none of them shows you is the seller's own page, read on a date, with the figure quoted word for word. We tried to build that and found the thing worth publishing: most of this market will not show a price to anything but a browser. Four sellers answer 403, one redirects into a waiting room, one serves an empty JavaScript shell and one serves navigation with no plan in it. Five will show you a price, and those five are the ones with figures on this site.
Who it is for
Somebody coming off a contract who wants to know what the same thing costs now.
Somebody whose bill went up in April and wants to know whether that is normal.
Somebody who wants several sellers to quote on the same use without filling in six forms.
What it does not do
- We publish no ranking bought by a seller, and no seller pays to be in the price record or to be placed in it.
- We publish no invented price. A seller whose page we could not read is recorded as unread, with what the read returned, and never as a seller who publishes nothing.
- We do not repeat a coverage or speed claim we cannot check. Ofcom measures that and we do not.
- We do not dress a from price up as a price.

- eSIM: An eSIM is the same plan as a plastic SIM with the card taken out of it: the profile is downloaded to the handset instead of posted.
- PAC codes and switching: A PAC code is the seven-character code that moves your number to a new network, and a STAC is the one that closes the account without moving the number.
- Data roaming: Roaming stopped being free with the EU and did not stop being sold, so it is now a line on the tariff rather than a right, and the sellers split into three groups: those that include it in the allowance, those that sell it as a daily or weekly pass, and those that say nothing on the page at all.
- Contracts and terms: A mobile phone contract in this record means airtime on a term, not a handset paid off monthly, and keeping those two apart is most of the value of comparing them at all.

Seller prices verified against each seller's own published page on 2026-09-10 by infra/ingest/hubs/simonlydealscompare.co.uk/ingest_providers.py: every quoted figure re-fetched and matched verbatim (hash-pinned); coverage evidenced by the seller's own priced page.
